Position: Administrative Assistant

Job Type: Part-Time

Supervisor: Lead Pastor

Schedule: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM – Monday – Thursday – 50 weeks per year

What you will be doing:

Your main role will be to serve as the face of the office at Crossway Baptist Church. You will be the first person others will encounter when they arrive at or call the church office. You will work with our staff to carry out the day-to-day tasks required to help the church carry out her mission to tell the world about Jesus. A detailed list of tasks can be found below.

Qualifications:

• Be pursuing a personal relationship with Jesus and affirm the beliefs of Crossway Baptist Church
• Accurate and thorough communication skills in both verbal and written formats
• Ability to prioritize and organize duties for multiple people at the same time; must manage time well
• Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office 
• Must be able to use other forms of technology and be willing to learn other software (Planning Center Online – Church Management Software)
• Self-motivated, independent thinker and problem-solver
• Ability to adapt quickly to change; flexible and calm under stress
• An all-in, enthusiastic team member approach; strong relational skills
• Be able to maintain confidentiality in every situation where it is required

Other Information:

• 90-day probationary period once hired
• Annual Evaluation with Lead Pastor and Personnel Chair
