Missions

LOCAL MISSIONS

Our call to engage in Christ’s Mission to make disciples of all nations begins at home.

Below is a list of our local ministry partners and mission initiatives.

STEPPING STONES SAFE HAVEN

The purpose of Stepping Stones is to provide programs and resources that emphasize on human development, recovery, and self-help, centered around community for short and long term support for those suffering oppression within our community.  At CrossWay, one of the main ways we support Stepping Stones is by providing food and shelter for homeless women and children in our community.  Click here to learn how you can get involved.

DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN’S SERVICES

At CrossWay, we partner with the Department of Children’s Services to provide resources, encouragement, and support for the DCS staff.  At various times throughout the year we will collect supplies, provide meals for DCS workers, and provide assistance at the DCS office.  In addition, members of our church family volunteer as mentors for at-risk families in our community.  Click here to learn how you can get involved.

DIVORCE CARE

Find help and healing through the pain of separation and divorce.

DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone.  Click here for more information about the DivoreCare groups meeting at CrossWay.

PRAY & GO

We love our community so we are praying for our community!

Pray & Go is CrossWay’s new initiative to systematically pray for every home in our community.  We know that prayer is powerful and changes lives We also believe it is the starting point to seeing our neighbors come to know and love the God who loved them first.  Click here for more information about Pray & Go.

International

CrossWay partners with Re-Vision Ministries whose mission is to develop long-term relationships that provide the needed resources while focusing on four key objectives: economic, educational, medical, and spiritual development in communities, locally and around the world.

As a local church, our work with Re-Vision has been focused in the Los Asises community of the Dominican Republic.  Based on Matthew 25:35-40, we seek to serve the “least of these” in this community.  Our desire to be the physical presence of God’s love in order to open doors of opportunity to share Gospel of Jesus.

CrossWay sponsors several trips each year to serve our friends in the Dominican Republic:

Christmas Senior Adult Trip

January Men’s Trip

February Women’s Trip

Summer Family Trip
